When it hurts to look back, and you're scared to look ahead, you can look beside you and your best friend will be there.

Cajon del Maipo

July 20-22 we had a training/reflection weekend- 'jornada' -at Cajon del Maipo with Voluntarios de Esperanza. We stayed in this really cool cabin which actually had some gas heaters and were the best thing ever! There were lots of bedrooms with bunkbeds, a nice sized kitchen, and a meeting room with a big fireplace. We played a lot of games, did a lot of thinking and reflecting on our experience thus far, ate the mysterious fruit from the tree, played cards till 3:30 in the morning, and enjoyed the fresh snow we got saturday morning. :)

It's snowing!! (observe the mysterious orange fruit in the tree above me)
A spectacular sunset the first night we were there
