Spring Break - St. George

For Spring Break we decided to do something a little different from the usual and not fly anywhere. We went down to St. George and stayed in the condo for a few days instead. We had a really great time relaxing the week away. Traveling is fun, but also very stressful at times when flying standby, so it was really great to just actually relax for a while. We definitely needed the break from school.

While in St. George we slept in everyday, shopped, ate great food, golfed (Brett got me clubs for my birthday), went fishing, went road-biking, read books in the sunshine, and swam in a friends pool. It was a perfect spring break.

We took our road bikes down there and biked the "Snow Canyon Loop", which is an 18 mile paved bike trail that runs all the way up through the Snow Canyon State Park and around. It was a gorgeous ride, relatively flat at the beginning for about 10 miles, and only had one big uphill, which we did have to stop for a break in the middle of, but was a downhill cruise for about the last 6 miles. Seriously, we didn't have to pedal for about 6 whole miles, and sometimes I was going so fast I would get scared and have to put on my breaks! We were cruising! We had a blast.
