The first night we went to Hollywood and had dinner. The next day we drove through China Town and went to little Tokyo. There I was introduced to what is called mochi ice cream, and it is my new favorite thing in the whole world. Unfortunately, then only place they have found to get it from is Little Tokyo. After lunch in Little Tokyo we split up. Bob and Kery went to work at the ski show, and Brett and I went back to the hotel to swim. It ended up getting cloudy and was to cold to swim so we just watched a movie and took a nap, completely stress free. (It was the perfect break before finals week). That evening we walked down to the convention center and took Bob and Kery's place at the booth for Brianhead Ski Resort. It was actually pretty fun, we had a big wheel people could spin and win free lift passes and ski vacations and stuff, so they would get really excited when they won.
After the show closed up that night, the producer who organized it all had booked the private party section of "Lucky Strikes", so we went there. They had lots of food, 4 bowling lanes and lots of couches to sit on. We had a good time bowling - I bowled a 187, the result of bowling class still paying off, and the food just kept coming! The waitresses kept bringing plates of chips/salsa, cheese balls w/ marinara sauce, pizza, salad, pasta, etc... It was awesome! Then the next morning, we flew back home.
