When it hurts to look back, and you're scared to look ahead, you can look beside you and your best friend will be there.

Christmas 2008

Brett and I had a wonderful first Christmas together. We slept in until 11:00, got up and found our stockings with santa's presents. My favorite gift from Santa was a Tide Spot Remover Pen to carry in my purse (I always spill on myself)! We then made the biggest breakfast ever! We had sausage, eggs, bacon, biscuits, toast, hashbrowns, and grapefruit. Delicious.
The opening of the presents came next. We were very spoiled with a lot of presents. Brett got me a new guitar stand, a capo for my guitar, piano music (Where are you Christmas by Faith Hill, and What Child is This), battleship (one of our current favorites), a new scripture case, etc.... And those are just a few mentioned of many more we received from everyone. We played games for the next few hours, then went to Brett's parent's house and had a big dinner. His parents were missed, as they are currently enjoying a vacation in Germany, but we still had a great time with everybody else. We enjoyed the rest of the evening with his family, and played the all famous 'Ticket to Ride', that we now have them addicted to as well.

The apron Mom made me... so cute

We love and missed you all and hope you had a Merry Christmas!!!
