Monterey, CA

We took a weekend trip to Monterey, CA for my birthday in March (not sure why I forgot to post it).  We had a great time golfing, driving along the beach, and enjoying the sites.  We did the 17-mile drive along Pebble Beach and it was really beautiful.

 If you have ever been golfing with Brett you would know that this is a very common sight... he is always trying to find free golf balls in ponds, grass, etc... that have been left behind.  We have bags and bags of golf balls now (good ones too), enough to last a lifetime I'm sure, but he just can't help himself.

 This is my birthday cake that we had a couple of days later on my birthday.  I had been craving old fashioned donuts and chocolate donuts, and this is the cake Brett came up with.  It was fun.
