NYC

We had two days off in a row the first week of February and decided to take a little trip to NYC.  We flew in and met our friend who is living there.  He took us to a fun place called Vapianos for dinner.  I had some delicious pasta and Brett had Pizza.  We then went for a stroll down to see the empire state building and Times Square.  We got some real New York Cheesecake in Times Square and it was so good!  While strolling the streets we found a shop that had 20 postcards for $1.00!  We never buy postcards, but that deal was too good to pass up so we bought 20.  Little did we know, we would turn the corner and find a shop selling postcards 30 for $0.99!  We felt jipped and laughed about it all night. After all our adventures we took the train back to our hotel near the airport, then flew home the next morning.
