After our red-eye flight from Denver to New York, we had 12 hours to kill before our next flight. So, of course, we took advantage of it. We got our razor scooters out and took the subway to Lower Manhattan, where we first saw the Statue of Liberty. Of course, we were too cheap to pay to take a ferry to go right to it, but got some pictures from the shore. We took our scooters and then rode them all the way up to Central Park and saw everything along the way. We saw the New York Stock Exchange, the Brooklyn Bridge, Ground Zero, Wall Street, Times Square, the Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, Radio City, NBC Studios, Carnegie Hall, etc...
Brooklyn Bridge
Times Square
We both took naps in Central Park - we were SO tired after our red-eye flight.
We have really loved taking our scooters with us everywhere because we are able to see so much more than if we were walking. We never would have been able to walk that far and would have had to spend more taking the subway. We really have saved a lot of money by riding our scooters all over rather than taking public transportation, renting a car, or taking a taxi.
